Real Patient Results From Treatment
My acne was treated by a dermatologist starting at age 15. Even with daily prescription treatment I still broke out and developed scars. I am 22 now. Laser GENESIS treatment cleared my acne right away, improved my scars almost 100% and my skin is the best it has ever looked! -- K.S. age 22
I had clear skin until age 35, then I developed hormonal acne and lots of makeup could not cover it. Laser GENESIS along with ColorScience® chemical-free primer completely transformed my skin! I look younger, my acne is gone, my skin glows and both my husband and I are amazed! -- T.C age 37
Picking at my acne made the scarring worse. I did ACCUTANE and that stopped the acne breakouts. I thought I had to live with these embarrassing cheek scars. Wow! Laser GENESIS really improved my scars and skin. My confidence is so much better. Thank you so much. -- L.A. age 46
In menopause my face blushing and small red vessels on my cheeks worsened. I was diagnosed with ROSACEA on my cheeks and nose. New ACNE too. Laser GENESIS was a miracle treatment for my ROSACEA and it made my large pores small again. -- S.K. age 44

Your phone consultation is a comprehensive interview about your skin and the history of your acne. Our goal is to have a clear understanding of your daily skincare routine and any medical treatments you have used. We want to be sure you have the opportunity to maximize both medical and laser treatment for your acne.
Yes for some patients - but it depends on your medical screening. Some patients require pre-medication to prevent hyperpigmentation if the doctor determines that your unique skin profile may be at risk. In that case, you must wait 2 weeks before your first treatment.
For MILD ACNE treatment a series of 2 LASER GENESIS treatments is recommended.
For MODERATE ACNE with presence of acne scars, a series of 4 LASER GENESIS treatments are recommended.
For SEVERE ACNE with presence of acne scars, a series of 6 LASER GENESIS treatments are recommended.
LASER GENESIS for acne creates positive results right away with active acne pustules drying up and resolving in the first 24-48 hours. Red areas of inflammation and Brown pigmentation also begin to fade and resolve after LASER GENESIS. Acne scarring improves as brand new skin is generated to replace the scar. How quickly the scar smooths depends upon the depth of the scar – with mild scars improving faster than severe/deep scars.
Laser treatment for acne takes 30 minutes. It is a gentle laser treatment called LASER GENESIS that feels like a heating lamp. The laser does not burn you, but creates a gradual heat response so the skin is warm to touch and pink and flushed at the end of the 30 minute treatment.
LASER GENESIS creates brand new collagen and elastin in your skin. This effect lasts a long time – as in many months. You will increase the longevity of the treatment result by avoiding direct prolonged sun and wearing a mineral sunscreen (chemical free sunscreen) daily.
Yes. Even patients on Retin-A or antibiotics that make you prone to sunburn or Accutane may have LASER GENESIS treatments for acne and scar regeneration. We are a dermatology medical clinic and we are accustomed to adjusting the settings for optimal safety and optimal results for patients using Rx acne medications.
